An international law firm is seeking a Global Head of Commercial Accounting to lead its commercial finance function on a global scale. This is a pivotal leadership role, central to driving financial performance, enhancing profitability, and delivering high-quality insight to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will shape and deliver a global commercial accounting strategy, ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence across regions and practice areas.
You will lead and develop a high-performing, globally dispersed team, embedding best practice across budgeting, management reporting, profitability analysis, and financial planning. A key focus will be strengthening business partnering with senior leaders to improve financial performance, pricing outcomes, and working capital efficiency.
This role also plays a critical part in ongoing finance transformation, including the evolution of reporting capabilities, increased use of data and analytics, and the integration of automation and technology to support a more forward-looking, insight-driven function.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of leading commercial finance within a complex, international professional services and partnership environment. You will demonstrate outstanding commercial acumen, the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight, and credibility when influencing senior stakeholders.
