We are working with a highly-regarded, international professional services firm looking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad, hands-on role, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, taking ownership of complex casework while contributing more widely across the employee lifecycle.
The team is small, collegiate and high-performing — this role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the business and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as the firm’s ER specialist, advising on a full range of casework (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, flexible working)
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice
- Managing cases end-to-end, including documentation, investigations and outcomes
- Supporting onboarding and probation processes, ensuring a consistent employee experience
- Leading on exit processes, including interviews and identifying key themes
- Maintaining and developing HR policies in line with employment law and best practice
- Supporting trainee development and professional qualification pathways
- Coordinating training across the employee lifecycle, including mandatory and professional development
- Contributing to EDI and wellbeing initiatives across the firm
- Working closely with the wider HR team on projects aligned to the people strategy
You’ll bring strong UK employment law knowledge, proven ER experience, and the confidence to operate credibly with senior stakeholders. Experience in a professional services environment would be helpful, but not essential.
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is expected.
Hybrid working is in place, with a UK office base and occasional travel.
