This international law firm is looking for a senior BD professional to lead and shape business development for a global Corporate practice. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll set the strategic direction and ensure activity translates into real outcomes. You will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders, influencing, challenging, and keeping things moving. You will:
- Lead and develop the BD team supporting the practice
- Own business planning and BD budgets
- Advise partners on pitches from strategy through to delivery
- Run targeted and strategic campaigns, thought leadership and events
- Drive client targeting aligned to firm priorities
- Oversee PR, communications, directories and awards
With strong expertise from within professional services, you will have a demonstrable track record across strategic and tactical business development including pitching, campaigns, opportunity spotting and practice development. You will have excellent influence skills to manage senior stakeholders and build credibility quickly. You will be proactive with a commercial mindset.
