My client is a leading and highly regarded London-based chambers with an outstanding reputation in its field. Operating at the top end of the market, the set advises on some of the most complex and high-profile matters across the UK and internationally.
As the chambers continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Marketing Manager on an initial 3 to 4 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on marketing and business development professional to join a high-performing team, work closely with an experienced Head of Marketing, and gain broad exposure across the chambers, its members, and wider strategic initiatives.
The role requires someone who can start quickly, manage multiple priorities confidently, and operate effectively in a fast-paced professional services environment. While the immediate requirement is for fixed-term support, there is potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of major symposiums and flagship events
- Manage webinars, seminars and wider events programmes, including campaign management, communications and invitation processes
- Coordinate international and regional business development trips, providing end-to-end marketing support
- Maintain and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring activity is effectively planned and delivered
- Update and maintain website content, member profiles and CVs
- Lead directory and awards submissions, coordinating information gathering and submission processes
- Create and schedule social media content across relevant channels
- Support the planning and promotion of pupillage fairs and related recruitment marketing activity
- Provide day-to-day marketing and business development support to members across the chambers
- Coordinate the planning, production and distribution of digital publications and thought leadership content
- Manage the weekly internal digital newsletter and associated communications
- Maintain CRM data quality, reporting and ongoing system management
Person Specification
- Previous marketing and business development experience within a legal environment
- Strong events and campaign management experience
- Excellent written communication and content development skills
- Experience managing directories, awards submissions and profile-raising initiatives
- Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and fee earners
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of CRM systems and marketing technology platforms
- Proactive, adaptable and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Available to begin a new role immediately
