Head of Projects & Business Change

We’re partnering with a well-established, values-led professional services firm to appoint a Head of Projects & Business Change, reporting into the COO and working hand-in-glove with senior stakeholders across the partnership and business services in a strategic leadership role.

This is a role with real influence: setting the change roadmap, prioritising initiatives, strengthening governance, and building a consistent approach to delivery - always with operational resilience and client service front of mind.

You’ll lead a small Projects & Business Change team and will be a visible, trusted adviser to senior leaders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the firm-wide change portfolio: prioritisation, dependencies, risks, and benefits realisation
  • Translating strategic priorities into a clear roadmap with milestones and measurable outcomes
  • Providing insight and reporting to the COO / Managing Partner / Board
  • Building sustainable change capability (frameworks, toolkits, super users / change champions)
  • Championing modern working practices and thoughtful use of technology to improve ways of working

Experience required:

  • Senior experience delivering strategic change in a complex / regulated environment
  • Confidence operating with (and influencing) partners and senior leadership
  • Strong portfolio governance experience and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Excellent communication - able to simplify complexity and bring people with you
  • Proven people leadership (team development, standards, consistency of delivery)

Desirable: legal/professional services background, digital transformation/process improvement exposure, and formal PM/change qualifications.
