An established professional services firm is looking to appoint an Operations Director to lead operational performance across a large business services function. This is a senior leadership role with broad responsibility for delivery, team effectiveness, process improvement and strategic alignment.

The role would suit a commercially minded operations leader with experience in professional services who can balance strategic oversight with practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational delivery across a large business services function, ensuring teams, processes and capacity are aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, workflows and service delivery to improve efficiency, quality and client experience.
  • Use data, commercial insight and performance measures to support profitable, scalable growth.
  • Build strong team capability through effective leadership, performance management, succession planning and development.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to strengthen service offering, improve collaboration and support strategic change.

About You

  • Senior operations leadership experience within professional services or a similar environment
  • A strong track record of improving delivery, performance and operational efficiency across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Commercially minded, with experience using data and insight to support growth and decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior leaders
  • An effective people leader who can build capability, accountability and high-performing teams
