Event Manager

Top tier consultancy firm

London

Newly created role

My client is a global strategy consulting firm, recognised for advising leaders of some of the world’s most successful businesses on their most critical commercial decisions. With a strong international footprint and deep sector expertise, the firm partners with clients across complex growth, strategy and transaction challenges, helping them achieve measurable, long‑term impact.

As part of their continued growth, the firm is now looking to appoint an Event Manager to join their London office. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will play a key part in supporting go‑to‑market priorities through the delivery of high‑quality, commercially focused events in London and Europe.

This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys end‑to‑end ownership, working closely with senior stakeholders and delivering events that drive engagement, strengthen relationships and support broader business development objectives.

The role

  • Planning and delivering a varied programme of events and conference activity aligned to sector and service line priorities
  • Translating event objectives into clear delivery plans, including timelines, audience targeting and success measures
  • Managing the end‑to‑end execution of in‑person and virtual events, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality experience
  • Owning event marketing activity, including invitation journeys, registrations, attendee communications and follow‑up
  • Working closely with Partners and internal stakeholders to ensure events support commercial objectives and senior‑level engagement
  • Coordinating with external venues, suppliers and co‑sponsors to deliver events on brand and to a high professional standard
  • Managing event data, attendance tracking and post‑event reporting, supporting effective follow‑up and insight sharing
  • Supporting budget management, supplier engagement and adherence to internal processes and policies

About you

  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end events and event marketing activity, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Confidence engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, including Partners and external collaborators
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver consistently high‑quality output
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured, methodical approach to delivery
  • Good technical capability, including experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership and drive activity forward
  • Experience managing European or multi‑market events is advantageous, as is a willingness to travel occasionally to support event delivery.
