Senior Content Manager

Global law firm

London

Hybrid working

My client is a leading global law firm, known for combining a genuinely down-to-earth culture with high quality, complex work. Marketing and business development is fully embedded with the partnership, giving individuals real exposure to senior stakeholders and a clear role in shaping how the firm goes to market. Content plays a central role in supporting client relationships, strengthening the firm’s profile and connecting its expertise across an international platform.

The firm is now seeking to appoint a Senior Content Manager to sit at the centre of this activity. Working across the UK and with international colleagues, this is a visible, strategically important role focused on shaping how the firm communicates with clients and the wider market. It will suit someone who enjoys operating at a senior level, bringing structure and clarity to complex ideas and driving content that has a clear commercial purpose.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and delivery of high quality, commercially focused content aligned to firmwide, sector and practice priorities
  • Working closely with partners and business development teams to shape thought leadership programmes and client facing campaigns
  • Bringing together expertise across teams and jurisdictions into joined up content that supports stronger client conversations
  • Overseeing the creation of a broad range of content, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with brand and messaging
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on messaging, tone and how best to engage different audiences
  • Managing content from initial concept through to publication, ensuring delivery is timely and aligned to strategic objectives
  • Collaborating with marketing, digital and communications teams to maximise the reach and impact of content across channels and regions
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the firm’s approach to content, including processes, governance and performance measurement

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in a senior content role within a large international law firm or comparable professional services environment
  • A strong understanding of how content supports client relationships, profile raising and business development
  • Experience leading complex, multi stakeholder content initiatives across different audiences and geographies
  • Confidence working closely with senior stakeholders, with the ability to challenge and influence when needed
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain consistently high standards
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions
  • Exposure to digital content platforms, campaign delivery or content governance frameworks would be advantageous

This is an opportunity to step into a role with real visibility and impact, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in how the firm presents itself in the market. The firm offers a collaborative environment, strong internal relationships and clear opportunities for progression for individuals looking to operate at a more strategic level.
