BD Manager – Private Client & Tax

A highly respected law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to support a market-leading Private Client & Tax team advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs and some of the world's wealthiest families. The practice has recently brought several specialist teams together under one offering, creating a real opportunity for someone to make an impact and help drive its next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and execute BD strategy
- Lead client development and intermediary targeting initiatives
- Drive relationship management programmes and cross-selling opportunities
- Manage pitches, profile-raising campaigns and key events
- Oversee directories, awards submissions and external market positioning
- Develop thought leadership and content initiatives
- Use client intelligence and CRM data to drive commercial growth
- Line manage and mentor a BD Executive
What they're looking for:
- Experience in legal or professional services business development
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Genuine interest in the private client, wealth, tax or family office market
- Experience leading strategic BD projects and client programmes
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to work closely with partners
- Previous management experience preferred
