Totum Partners are recruiting for an experienced Revenue Controller to join the Finance team of a leading international law firm.

This role will support allocated practice groups and take ownership of the firm's revenue cycle, working closely with Partners and fee earners to manage WIP, drive billing activity and maximise working capital performance.

The successful candidate will lead regular WIP reviews, provide commercial support to stakeholders and help ensure matters progress efficiently through the billing process. This is a highly visible, Partner-facing position that requires strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge where necessary.

The ideal Revenue Controller will be responsible for:

• Managing WIP and billing activity across an allocated portfolio
• Leading WIP review meetings with Partners and fee earners
• Monitoring aged WIP and driving matters through the billing cycle
• Producing and analysing revenue reports
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm
• Identifying risks and opportunities to improve revenue performance
• Supporting working capital objectives and key financial targets

The ideal Revenue Controller will be responsible for:

• Previous Revenue Control or Working Capital experience within a law firm
• Strong understanding of WIP management and legal billing processes
• Experience working closely with Partners and fee earners
• Experience using Elite 3E would be advantageous
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
