An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Adviser to join the HR team of a leading law firm on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract.
Working as part of an established recruitment function, you'll support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment across a range of populations. This is a varied role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, a proactive approach to sourcing talent and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
The Role
Reporting into the recruitment leadership team, you'll be involved in the full recruitment lifecycle, supporting hiring managers and candidates from initial brief through to offer stage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing recruitment activity across permanent, contract and temporary vacancies
- Developing and delivering resourcing plans to meet business hiring requirements
- Providing market insight and recruitment advice to hiring managers
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Direct sourcing and proactive candidate engagement
- Drafting and updating job descriptions
- Managing recruitment agencies and ensuring diverse candidate pipelines
- Screening applications and conducting initial candidate interviews
- Coordinating interview processes and assessment exercises
- Attending interviews where required
- Providing regular recruitment updates to hiring managers
- Managing the offer process and candidate communications
- Ensuring recruitment activities comply with current employment legislation and best practice
About You
The successful candidate will have experience either in an in-house recruitment environment or within a legal recruitment consultancy, with exposure to delivering recruitment campaigns across a range of professional or corporate functions.
You'll bring:
- Previous legal recruitment experience, ideally at Adviser level or equivalent
- Direct sourcing capability and confidence engaging passive candidates
- A commercial and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Resilience, adaptability and confidence when working with senior stakeholders
