Working Capital Coordinator – Dubai
International Law Firm | Broad Finance Role | High-Profile Office
Totum Partners is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Working Capital Coordinator for their Dubai office. This is a rare opportunity to join a global practice in a broad finance role with exposure across credit control, revenue, billing, accounts payable, and cashiering. Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you’ll play a key part in managing the firm’s working capital, maintaining financial hygiene, and supporting partners and fee earners with day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing credit control: chasing invoices, maintaining debtor records, and resolving payment queries
- Supporting monthly WIP and debtor reviews, and following up on action points
- Preparing client statements and ensuring compliance with SAR on residual balances
- Posting receipts and disbursements; overseeing banking transactions
- Assisting with billing, credit notes, VAT checks, write-offs, and time amendments
- Providing hands-on support to partners, fee earners, and the wider team on finance queries
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a credit control or billing function within an international law firm
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Sound understanding of SAR, VAT, and financial operations
- Previous exposure to legal finance systems is useful, but happy to train the right person
