An international law firm has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Officer to join their highly regarded team, focusing on managing the recruitment of Associates and colleagues across the UK. You will be part of a team of HR professionals across all areas from learning and development to teams specialising in generalist HR, corporate social responsibility and diversity, all while working alongside international colleagues supporting the global office framework.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment processes for lateral hires across the Practice groups.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all external recruitment agencies, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers/partners, being their recruitment expert and providing advice and guidance on interview processes, candidates and market trends.
  • Taking ownership of the candidate experience from initial screening and candidate response to guidance on the recruitment process, interviewing and managing offer discussions.
  • Championing diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process and contributing to D&I recruitment-based initiatives and projects.

The successful candidate will have gained the following skills:

  • Experience in professional services recruitment (in-house or agency) or someone with a background in the legal industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships, particularly at a senior level.
  • The ability to deal with highly sensitive matters and demonstrate an awareness of the confidential nature of much of the work.
  • Ensure that diversity and inclusion is at the forefront of recruitment and continue to drive this through policies and initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively on wider HR and cross functional projects as required.
