We are delighted to be working closely with this leading law firm to hire a strategic business development lead to aid in developing long-term relationships within private equity.

 

This lead relationship position will work closely with London private equity partners in M&A and fund formation, developing and implementing strategies to deepen and expand client relationships in the private equity sector. This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with clients, gather data and insights, and drive the evolution of a client engagement approach.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with London private equity partners to develop and execute strategies for strengthening client relationships and expanding revenue opportunities. This will include attending pitch meetings and networking events to gather intelligence, enhance relationships and ultimately drive revenue. It will also mean tracking client interactions and providing pre- and post-meeting reports to relevant stakeholders. You will regularly meet with clients to better understand performance and potential. Furthermore, you will conduct research on market trends, new funds, and sectors to support clients and the firm.

 

Working with the wider business you'll look for opportunities to expand client relationships and collaborate with client development teams for execution. Working closely with London private equity partners in drafting annual client plans you will also collaborate with client development teams on targeted client events, and promote the expertise and successes of the London private equity team.

 

The right individual will possess strong experience either from within private equity or of working with and understanding the industry. You should have understanding of private equity deals and fund matters as well as global private equity market knowledge and appreciation for the way in which legal advisors are selected. You will also have strong market presence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative working relationships
