Strategic Bids Manager – leading global law firm
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days from home)

This Bids Manager role is a newly created position and will have a global focus. It’s a great opportunity to help shape a new function, develop best practice and take the lead of high value global bids. There is excellent scope for long term development and progression and this firm has a particularly good retention record, due to the internal opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end delivery of high-quality and impactful strategic bids and proposals, collaborating closely with business services and fee earning teams, to ensure a tailor-made approach for a successful outcome.
- Running bid project meetings to coach and prepare bid teams for client meetings and presentations.
- Develop best practice materials and bid processes to provide guidance across the firm.
- Develop a robust firmwide bid feedback process across the firm. Share client insights and lessons learnt to identify themes and areas for improvement.
- Develop and drive the firms use of GenAI and other martech to streamline and improve the delivery of bids.
Requirements:
- Strong bids experience, gained in a professional services environment, with experience of managing cross practice, multi jurisdiction bids projects.
- Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Able to work strategically and tactically – be as comfortable providing guidance to partners as you are drafting a bid.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to tight deadlines as needed.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
