Totum are supporting a leading international professional services organisation in their search for a Senior Partnership Tax Manager to join their UK tax function. This is a strategic and influential role within a complex, high‑performing partnership structure, offering the opportunity to oversee a broad portfolio of senior stakeholders and drive continued development of tax operations and technology.

The position sits within a highly specialised Partnership Tax team responsible for end‑to‑end UK personal tax compliance and advisory support for several hundred partners, both UK‑resident and non‑resident. This role will oversee the team’s delivery of tax compliance, partner tax payments, international tax reserving, and interactions with internal finance teams, ensuring accuracy of UK and global tax allocations, journal preparation and reconciliation.

You will manage the day‑to‑day technical requirements of complex partner tax affairs, including annual returns, tax reserve calculations, international tax payments, capital gains reporting, pension contribution planning and liaison with HMRC. The role also plays a pivotal part in shaping tax technology strategy, supporting automation of reserving and reporting processes and contributing to the firm’s wider audit cycle.

Applicants should be experienced tax professional (CTA / ATT / ACA / equivalent) with strong technical knowledge across UK personal tax and partnership structures. You will need to bring excellent numeracy and reconciliation capability, confidence managing senior stakeholders, and strong communication skills. Experience working with complex tax journals, international tax considerations and advanced Excel (including vlookups, xlookups and index‑match) is essential; exposure to tax automation tools is an advantage.
