I am delighted to have partnered exclusively with a leading international law firm to recruit a Senior Manager for their Pricing & Commercial Insights team. Operating at the heart of the firm’s financial strategy, this position plays a critical role in shaping pricing approaches, driving commercial improvements and supporting senior leadership in making data‑driven decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Pricing, the Senior Pricing Manager will oversee a London‑based team of five and collaborate closely with senior partners, finance leadership and cross‑functional business support teams across multiple offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pricing professional who thrives in a progressive, collaborative and commercially focused environment. The role offers a varied remit spanning strategy, leadership, pricing execution, commercial advisory and continuous improvement.
The individual will lead and develop the Pricing & Commercial Insights team, fostering a strong, inclusive performance culture and ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality commercial guidance across the business. They will advise senior stakeholders on pricing strategies, model the financial impact of proposed arrangements, and support client‑facing discussions where required. A key part of the role includes contributing to the ongoing development and rollout of the firm’s pricing framework, working closely with colleagues across Commercial Finance and Client Development to support profitable growth.
The Senior Manager will act as a senior subject‑matter expert on pricing, championing adoption of best practices and modern pricing tools. They will lead promotional efforts to increase the visibility and effectiveness of pricing initiatives, and design and deliver commercial training for stakeholders involved in pricing decisions. The role also encompasses assisting partners with budgeting, monitoring financial performance —particularly for complex matters — and encouraging the adoption of effective legal project management disciplines.
This position requires strong commercial acumen, proven experience managing high‑performing teams in a multi‑jurisdictional environment and exceptional analytical and modelling skills. The successful candidate will bring excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge, negotiate and guide senior stakeholders.
