Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy across all channels to enhance the firm’s market profile.
- Forge strong relationships with journalists to secure press coverage and thought leadership opportunities for partners and business leaders.
- Act as a trusted advisor on proactive and reactive media relations, crisis comms, and issues management.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to the firm’s brand and visual identity across all activities and channels.
- Oversee content creation, event planning, legal directory submissions, and awards management.
- Mentor and manage a team of marketing and communications professionals to ensure project delivery.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Proven track record in senior communications roles, preferably with experience in journalism, PR agencies, or in-house settings.
- Strong journalist relationships and experience working with media outlets.
- Multinational, matrixed business experience, ideally within the professional services sector.
- Proficiency in developing and executing proactive media relations activities and campaigns.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social and digital media strategies and emerging technologies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and collaborative team player with strong initiative.
