Department/Role Overview
As a Senior Communications Executive, you will be integral in driving the communication strategy for their global change initiatives. Reporting to the Change Communications Manager in London, this role offers autonomy while also requiring close collaboration with the Transformation Office and Internal Communications team. You will ensure that projects and initiatives are delivered seamlessly and that our staff have a positive experience during times of change. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering messages that inform, engage, and inspire our staff and stakeholders. You will work closely with the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Technology Officer to support the delivery of change communications for our Get Digital Strategy and IT and Security change initiatives.
You will also play a key role in supporting the internal communications strategy, working across the team to effectively deliver key firm-wide initiatives. The internal communications team is a close-knit group that supports each other in delivering the best possible engagement and communications for the firm.
The successful candidate will need to be in a comms role either at Executive level or Senior executive. You will need to have worked on change and transformation projects. The role is based in London, with flexible working arrangements available. Due to their global presence, you may be required to work outside of standard office hours to facilitate project implementations across the global offices, with time taken back as appropriate.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support the delivery of global change initiatives.
- Content Creation: Create engaging content, including leadership updates, video storyboards, podcasts, intranet pages, articles, and presentations, to effectively inform our staff about key changes and required actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, Partners, Office Managing Partners, C-Suite, and Business Services teams.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement internal communication plans to ensure that staff are well-informed and aligned with change initiatives, ensuring timely communications.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in communications, with a proven track record in global/change communication strategies.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience in change management and an understanding of project management principles is preferred.
- Experience with managing, recording, and editing podcasts is preferred but not essential.
- Experience working with IT/AI/Digital teams to deliver change is preferred but not essential.
- Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
