Job Responsibilities
- The Senior Change Manager is a pivotal management role responsible for leading on building and embedding of a Change Management function to support the firm’s strategic change portfolio and transformation agenda.
- You will lead a small team of 3 Change Managers and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure complex change is delivered in a pragmatic, people‑centred, and sustainable way.
- Establish and embed a consistent change management framework, aligned to recognised best practice, including tools, standards, and ways of working.
- Lead change delivery across a portfolio of complex initiatives, ensuring activity is joined‑up, prioritised, and outcome‑focused.
- Build strong relationships with partners, senior leaders and key stakeholders across the firm.
- Lead stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and engagement strategies using a structured methodology.
- Drive adoption, readiness, and benefits realisation, identifying and addressing resistance early.
- The immediate focus of the role is supporting transformation on two fronts - operational integration to help with a smooth merger between 2 large law firms and firm-wide adoption of new AI tools.
Skills Required
- Significant experience leading change in complex/matrixed legal environments
- Working knowledge of Prosci change management methodology.
- Experience working alongside formal project delivery approaches (waterfall, agile, or hybrid).
- Experience with a law firm merger project or AI initiatives and adoption.
This role offers hybrid working - 2 days WFH weekly.
