Senior Business Development – Energy & Projects

This prestigious global law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager or Business Development Manager to join their Business Development Team in London. This role focuses on projects and energy transition, with a particular emphasis on the infrastructure industry and practice.

As a part of the global Business Development team, the Senior Business Development Manager will execute the firm's clients and markets strategy. Working closely with the Infrastructure and Projects leadership teams, the role will drive profitable growth, enhance the client experience, and build new business development capabilities.

The Senior Business Development Manager will provide commercial advice on strategic plans, drive go-to-market strategies, manage key client accounts, support major pursuits, and collaborate with partners to develop business development strategies. They will also oversee opportunity management, practice management, client management, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional services business development environment. Strong leadership, commercial awareness, innovative thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. You should be proactive, deadline-driven, and possess a strategic mindset with a focus on execution. Building positive relationships with stakeholders is crucial.
