Senior BD Manager – Transactions

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Senior BD Manager – Transactions. This role focuses on driving business growth across EMEA, managing strategic marketing and client development initiatives.

This is a large and vital team that contributes heavily to revenue so this is a high profile and important role. You will play a key role in developing business plans, identifying client opportunities, and managing legal directory submissions. Additionally, you’ll lead targeted marketing campaigns, collaborate on client events, and work closely with senior partners to drive revenue growth. Whilst the role is broad, care has been taken to ensure the role is well supported with additional support for transactional bids so that focus can be given to proactive projects and strategic advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies for transactional practice groups within the Financial Services Sector.
  • Lead pitch processes and proposals in response to RFPs
  • Oversee legal directory submissions and maximise recognition.
  • Collaborate on client events and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Mentor a small team of business development professionals.

To succeed, you must have substantial business development experience within a professional services firm, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
