We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager to join them.

In the role of Business Development and Marketing Manager for the Global Antitrust practice, you will have specific responsibility for leading marketing and BD globally and providing strategic support for the Antitrust group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Shaping and implementing the business development strategy for the Global Antitrust practice, aligned with global strategic objectives.
  • Taking a lead role in preparing proposals, pitch presentations, and credentials statements for relevant antitrust opportunities. Coaching antitrust partners and fee-earners on their presentations and setting best practices.
  • Proactively raising the profile of the Global Antitrust practice and increasing the profile of leading individuals. Collaborating with the Media Relations team to build a strong external profile as a standout practice for complex cross-border, high-value antitrust work.
  • Working closely with the Antitrust Steering Group to shape the group's business objectives and track progress against priorities. Coordinating practice management activities, including meetings, agenda setting, and follow-up actions.
  • Developing new customer products or business development initiatives in response to client needs and market issues. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth and maximizing client relationships.
  • Supporting the firm's client listening program and ensuring that client feedback is acted upon appropriately.
  • Overseeing internal and external communications to facilitate global community-building and information sharing. Enhancing communication channels and continuously improving them based on feedback and market trends.
  • Planning and executing a program of events internationally to raise the profile and build relationships. Partnering with leading antitrust conference organizers and other intermediaries for brand-building opportunities.
  • Conducting market and client research to support business planning activities and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Managing a BD manager

To succeed in this role, you should have substantial relevant marketing experience within a professional services organisation or the legal sector, with frequent interaction with senior management. An understanding of antitrust/competition law or previous experience practicing in the field would be advantageous.
