Our Client is a dynamic, growing business seeking an experienced Revenue Controller to join their friendly and highly motivated finance team. The role's primary purpose is to coordinate and manage the revenue cycle and drive financial efficiencies. This is an advantageous and varied role for an experienced professional.
Successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Meeting partners and fee-earners to discuss WIP, disbursements and outstanding bills and discuss actions required
- Ensure timely billing
- Reviewing exposures with the Working Capital Manager
- Identifying threats and themes to improve recovery and lock-up
Requirements to be successful in this role:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a law firm
- A working knowledge of revenue controllers and revenue cycle management
- Excellent understanding of best practices in revenue control
- Highly organised and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good IT skills with a specialist in revenue controllers
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Ability to take ownership in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Understanding of finance systems, databases, and spreadsheets
- Proficient in MS Office applications
