We are delighted to be working with this leading, top tier accountancy firm who are looking for a Relationship Development Manager in a newly created role. This firm have a brilliant reputation and are extremely successful. They are on an exciting growth journey and this Relationship Development Manager role will play an integral part in this, helping to cement their place in the market and develop relationships with new clients.


The Relationship Development Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders and the strategic pursuits team to identify opportunities for new business and forge long term, lasting relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships between the partnership and C suite level contacts, developing a strong understanding and insight into the designated prospect clients, developing an account plan of key activities and ensuring the partners are fully briefed ahead of client meetings. Part of this role will be to ensure that the lead partners for each prospect client are accountable and proactive in their approach to developing the relationship, as well as working closely with the marketing and pursuits team to ensure all opportunities to connect and engage with the client are maximised.


This Relationship Development Manager role is ideal for a candidate who has a background in pursuit management, client development or account management, gained in a professional services environment. Strong influencing and communication skills will be key to the success of this Relationship Development Manager role, along with a natural intellectual curiosity, the ability to horizon scan to spot long term opportunities and first-class relationship building skills and experience.
