A leading global professional services firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Head of Business Development – Europe and Middle East to lead business development initiatives and drive growth across key markets. Based in London or Dublin, this role will be pivotal in shaping and executing strategic business plans, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing market positioning. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Client Relationship Management, the successful candidate will work closely with local practice leaders and cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to maximise return on investment.
- Foster collaboration between practice areas, leveraging market intelligence for cross-practice initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Provide strategic support and coaching to partners on business development best practices.
- Enhance internal service delivery, optimise business development processes, and drive operational efficiency.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with key industry associations and memberships.
- recommending improvements for greater impact.
Role requires:
- 10+ years’ experience in professional services business development, including leadership and team management roles.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen, client development expertise, and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in a global, matrix organization with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive engagement across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Project management experience, with the ability to deliver within time constraints.
