My client, a leading UK claimant law firm specialising in Employment & Human Rights is looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join their team on a 3-6 month contract basis. There is flexibility for this role to be based in London or Manchester and the firm have a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office per week.
 
Main duties and responsibilities
  • Undertake briefing meetings/ calls with hiring Partners/ managers
  • Research/ advise on recommended/ cost effective sourcing channels
  • Screen and longlist applicants, as required by Partners/ managers
  • Provide advice and support on appropriate selection methods
  • Oversee the coordination of the selection process
  • Provide interview support where necessary (typically non-fee-earning roles)
  • Relationship management of agency PSL
  • On-going review of PSL, ensuring adequate coverage of disciplines and locations
  • Researching and sourcing new suppliers where needed
  • Negotiating and agreeing terms of business, ensuring up to date terms are in place
  • Day to day supervision/ work allocation of an administrator
  • Maintain a close relationship with HR Managers/ Business Partners/ Advisors
  • Ensure compliance with general firm processes and data protection standards (GDPR)
  • Drafting and updating job descriptions
  • Drafting adverts for website, job boards and social media channels
  • Drafting and updating interview questions
  • Ensuring vacancy and candidate trackers are up to date
Key skills and attributes:
  • Experienced in house recruiter, ideally from professional services/ partnerships
  • Excellent knowledge of Business Services roles/ functions (HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, Marketing, Compliance)
  • Experience supervising administrative support
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive and efficient, with the ability to manage own workloads and priorities
  • Flexible approach to work, able to change course and ‘get hands dirty’ when necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fully competent in using MS Office products
