We are delighted to be working with a UK top 50 law firm with their recruitment for a Proposals Manager, on a six month fixed-term contract basis. This role is based in London, with agile working. 

Reporting into the Head of Business Development, this role will be a pivotal part of the bid team and will be responsible for the project management of the overall bid process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management of overall bid process, working across multiple large panel pitches

  • Working with the wider team to ensure all deal information and other information is captured and shared for future bids

  • Review, monitor and promote bid best practice

  • Liaise with other members of the bids' team to improve overall quality of bids and efficiency of process

  • Company, stakeholder and competitor intelligence gathering

  • Helping partners define and execute the proposal strategy

  • Production of the proposal documentation

  • Coaching orals/ preparing presentations

 

Required Experience:

  • Experience of bid management in either a legal, professional services or other relevant environment

  • Energised and organised – very busy, multitasking, able to work to deadlines

  • Strong copywriting skills

  • Experience project managing and advising on major panel tenders

  • Ability to project manage bids effectively, and calmly to tight deadlines, often simultaneously

  • An ability to engage with different groups and stakeholders around the business to promote best practice and develop relationships
