London based, hybrid working

 

We are delighted to be working with a leading global law firm who are looking for a proactive PR Specialist to join their superb marketing and communications team based in London. This is a brilliant opportunity for a talented PR or Communications professional to join a firm that is innovative and forward thinking.

This PR Specialist role will work on projects for the EMEA region, supporting both the practice groups and the firm’s wider initiatives such as innovation, diversity and ESG.

 

This PR Specialist role will be at the forefront of the firm's PR and Communications efforts. The successful candidate will act as the day-to-day point of contact for press enquiries, crafting compelling press releases, articles, and other communication materials. Building relationships with media contacts across industry, business, and national publications will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will proactively seek out story ideas and pitch them to press contacts, identifying media opportunities for comment, by-lined articles, and case studies. You will also coordinate press interviews, assist lawyers with media interview preparation, and provide advice on press responses.

 

The successful candidate for this PR Specialist role will be highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail. First class written and verbal communication skills are essential, coupled attention to detail. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a PR and/or communications role is required, ideally with exposure to a legal or wider professional services environment dealing with complex subject matter, coupled with significant UK media contacts. Experience using PR tools, such as PR media databases and media monitoring platforms, is highly required. An undergraduate degree in a relevant area would be advantageous.
