A great opportunity for an experienced office Manager to join a leading consultancy and become part of their key Operations team. This part-time opportunity (3 days a week) will ensure the smooth running of the service, leading on Front of House and office management operations. This role will be responsible for buildings/facilities management and health and safety across the organisations international network of offices.

Key responsibilities will include:

Property management – providing support with planning and management of the property portfolio and the associated external relationships.

Facilities and Building management – to be responsible for devising and managing an appropriately pro-active programme of property maintenance, with a focus on maintaining the best possible working environment for employees. The Office manager will ensure that appropriate measures are in place to ensure the security of all office locations and property and is responsible for contract and supplier relationships in this area.

Health & Safety

This role will act as the firm’s Health & Safety Officer, working closely with HR to deliver a safe and comfortable working environment for all staff and visitors.

The successful applicant should ideally have:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or ability to demonstrate relevant experience as an office manager.
  • Deomstrable project management experience relevant to the role – this can include taking a lead role in office refits or relocations for example.
  • Exposure to health & safety requirements in office environments, to a level that would enable them to act as the Firms operational Health and Safety Officer.
  • Facilities management or support outside the UK is desirable.
