Who Are You?
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in client-facing sales. They have a successful track record of developing a sustainable new business pipeline and delivering new business against revenue targets. They are a clear and effective communicator, both face-to-face and in writing, and quickly establish confidence and engagement with new prospects. They are likely to have experience in business development in the field of culture, HR and organisational development. They take a long-term approach to consultative sales and have a people-first ethos. They share the values of curiosity, community, commitment, and kindness.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Sourcing new business with the aim of establishing profitable long-term client relationships
- Using LinkedIn to building relationships between A Kind Life and prospects
- Holding introductory prospect meetings, sales conversations and presentations
- Developing prospect relationships through to closing sales
- Preparing sales proposals, tailoring templated proposals to client needs
- Preparing and delivering client pitches, including tenders and proposal preparation.
- Working closely with the founder and the marketing team (who manage prospecting through email and other channels) to achieve growth via the delivery of agreed KPIs and sales targets.
- Maintaining up-to-date market knowledge, including sector knowledge.
- Flexible approach and contributing to a variety of tasks outside of the formal job role as part of a small team.
