Network Architect

Permanent

London - Hybrid (1-2 days a week in the office)

We are recruiting on behalf of a global law firm that requires an experienced Network Architect on a permanent basis.

The Network Architect is in place to set the strategy and standards for the Firm's use of voice, data, video, and wireless network technology services. The role holder will also be expected to understand SaaS based voice and video conferencing technology services and ISP connectivity. The Network Architect will be responsible for defining the technology landscape from a networking perspective across the firm globally both on-premise and where appropriate in the cloud. The Network Architect will be seen as the clear technical lead in this domain and will be the go-to person for anyone else in the firm that may need such guidance.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in selecting, designing and overseeing the deployment of traditional LAN, WAN, and WLAN solutions.
  • Experience with working with MPLS WAN Networks, SD-WAN including Microsoft ExpressRoute, vWAN and Direct Access.
  • Hands on and design experience of Azure VNET's, VNET Peering, NSG's and VNET Gateways.
  • Experience with deploying network appliances to Azure as well as Azure network functions like Azure Traffic Manager.
  • Experience designing and deploying Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) in branch offices.
  • Network security experience in strategies, processes, and technologies designed to protect a company's network from unauthorized access and harm.
  • Experience in global Firewall, network load balancer and WAN Optimizer strategy and design.
