We are delighted to be working with this leading boutique law firm based in Hertfordshire and London who have an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing Lead to join them.

Due to continued success, my client is looking for an experienced marketing professional to play an integral part in the strategic planning and tactical delivery of the firms marketing strategy at a local, national, and international level. As the firm continues its journey, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact and add tangible value, particularly around the international piece which already has some exciting developments in play.


The Marketing Lead will manage a small team, with scope to build out the function over the course of time. Working in close collaboration with the senior leadership team, the remit of this role is interesting and varied and will encompass:


  • Collaborate with HR to enhance the firm’s employer branding, supporting talent attraction and learning and development initiatives.
  • Enhance internal communications to foster a cohesive and positive team environment across both offices.
  • Implement marketing plans to increase the firm's brand visibility, client retention and new client acquisition.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including content creation, PPC campaigns, lead generation, and performance analysis to boost online presence.
  • Create engaging content for the firm's website, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Organise and attend events, conferences, and seminars to showcase the firm’s expertise and expand its professional network. Provide networking opportunities for lawyers and stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and partners to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.


The successful candidate for this role will require:


  • Significant, demonstrable marketing and business development experience gained in a law firm environment. Wider professional services sector experience is also welcomed.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills and experience, able to influence and positively challenge the status quo.
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • A good understanding of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media marketing.
  • Solid relationship building skills.
