Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a boutique law firm to recruit an Legal Cashier for their finance team. Our client is currently operating a hybrid pattern of two days per week working from home. Study support is available for the right candidate.
The ideal Legal Cashier will be responsible for the following:
- Processing payments (Chaps, Faster, BACS, International)
- Processing transactions
- Dealing with the daily client bank reconciliation
- Posting of disbursements, anticipated disbursements
- Processing bills
- Review client ledger balances and identify discrepancies
- Helping to clear ledger balances and archive matters
- Dealing with fee earners and support staff regarding accounts queries
- Helping accounts manager when required
The ideal Legal Cashier will have:
- Experience working in a law firm or legal services - essential
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication
- Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts rules beneficial
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must be experienced in multi-tasking and managing time sensitive
