An exciting opportunity for a passionate Learning and Development professional to join a leading Accountancy firm.

The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with relevant stakeholders to design, implement and evaluate training and development activities in support of the Firm’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

Career Development – Post Qualification

  • Support the Firm’s talent management and career development programmes; Create/review appropriate and standardised career structures throughout the Firm, developing bespoke training schedules to support the career structures and development needs.

Career Development – Pre Qualification

  • Ensure that all trainees are inducted and educated effectively during their onboarding and throughout the Training Contract including delivering a successful induction programme with requisite training.

Skills Development

  • Apply specialist knowledge of core L&D tools and L&D best practice (e.g. designing training, leading training needs analysis) in order to ensure excellence in all L&D activities across the firm.

 

The successful applicant will have gained the following key skills:

  • Ideally have a full working knowledge of ACCA, ACA, CFAB, CTA, AAT, and AAT qualification paths and options.
  • Experience of working on programmes for both early career and senior leaders.
  • Experience of working within a professional services environment, ideally Accountancy and ICAEW regulated environment.
