A leading international law firm is seeking a Learning & Development Adviser to support the delivery of a high‑impact business skills curriculum.
Working within a collaborative and ambitious L&D team, and as part of the wider People function, this role plays a key part in enabling people to develop the skills they need to perform and progress.
The focus is on early careers populations (including trainees, apprentices, paralegals and junior professionals), with exposure to wider development initiatives as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- End‑to‑end programme management of business skills training, from design through to delivery and evaluation
- Designing, facilitating and delivering high‑quality training and workshops, independently and with external providers
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure programmes are relevant and impactful
- Refreshing and evolving learning content in response to feedback and changing priorities
- Selecting and managing external training providers and ensuring value for money
- Managing budgets for assigned programmes
- Supporting wider insights‑based training and facilitation initiatives
- Acting as a key point of contact for international offices in Asia
About you:
You’ll bring solid experience across learning, development or talent management, with a strong track record of managing the full training cycle. You’re a confident facilitator and presenter, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred, with prior experience operating at Adviser level (or equivalent). Insights accreditation is beneficial, or a willingness to undertake qualification.
You’ll be organised, commercially minded and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities. A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset and strong systems capability are essential.
