London based, hybrid working

Well established International law firm

Excellent opportunity to take the firms internal communications to the next level

 

This leading law firm are looking for a talented, creative Internal Communications Manager to join their existing communications team to take ownership of their internal communications channel. This role offers lots of autonomy and the opportunity to be really creative, in an environment that values and appreciates internal communications, and the successful candidate will have lots of exposure to a group of very engaged senior stakeholders.

This Internal Communications Manager role will report into the Head of Communications to lead on the delivery of all internal communications planning and output, from devising and implementing an internal communications plan to clearly communicating a wide range of news, from the firms  responsible business agenda to project and operational updates.

 

This role calls for a true internal communications specialist – the firm has a good foundation in place but they are keen to bring someone in that will elevate their internal communications in a proactive and engaging way.

 

The remit of this Internal Communications Manager role will include:

 

  • Developing and implementing the firm’s internal communications strategy
  • Creating high quality written content to support firmwide initiatives
  • Working with key internal stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on how best to communicate updates
  • Building strong working relationships across the firm to gather news and information and coordinating, writing and publishing content for the Intranet, newsletter and internal emails
  • Supporting on key internal evens, from senior management briefings to live Q&A sessions
  • Lead on project such as the production of the firms annual responsible business report

 

The successful candidate for this Internal Communications Manager role will need:

 

  • 5+ years experience in a communications role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills and experience
  • High levels of commercial acumen
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Good levels of organisation and planning skills
  • An innovative and creative approach with the ability to generate new ideas
