My client, an international law firm is looking for a Client Engagement Manager to join their team on a six month fixed-term contract basis.This role can be based out of any of the firms UK offices.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior BD Executive looking to step up into management level, who has a passion for being client facing in the legal sector.
 
As a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) you will work with the Head of Business Development to drive the firm's strategy to create sustainable value by developing and acquiring business and pursuing profitable growth.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Work with the Head of Business Development to embed a culture of sales and identify opportunities
  • Build own network, and create market-facing opportunities
  • Work closely with business leaders you will drive sales and business development engagement
  • Creating and delivering sales tools and training, establishing client engagement best practice, and developing relationships with clients
  • Drive the development and delivery of the sales and business development training programme
  • Facilitate client development workshops
  • Deliver sales workshops and coach senior stakeholders
  • Work with the Marketing team to support campaign driven activity
  • Plan and attend client relationship meetings
  • Promote the effective use of CRM system
  • Build an internal and external network to share market insight
 
Key experience and attributes:
  • Experience of working in the professional services sector and/or selling legal services
  • Experience of developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience of managing client accounts, developing client plans and growth strategies
  • Market-facing/client development experience
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels
  • Ability to influence, challenge and coach senior stakeholders
  • Strong networking skills
  • Experience in implementing change programmes
  • Experience in delivering business development training
  • Highly pro-active, self-motivated, resourceful
  • Strong project management experience
