My client, a top UK law firm is looking for an Interim Business Development Manager to join them on a six month fixed-term contract basis. 
 
You will be reporting to the Head of Business Development, and working closely with the Senior BD Executive in supporting key activities and initiatives and ensuring smooth and seamless support for the Retail & Consumer group.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Business and BD planning
  • Provide key client support
  • Market research and analysis to identify business leads and emerging opportunities
  • Developing compelling content and value propositions
  • Work with marketing team to ensure the propositions are clearly articulated and communicated across all channels
  • Deliver activities that build brand awareness and understanding in the external marketplace
  • Preparing partners for relationship and BD meetings
  • Provide advice and guidance to lawyers on marketing & profile raising
  • Measurement & reporting of marketing activities
  • Support delivery of bids and proposals
  • Monitoring group budgets
  • Attending relevant meetings
 
Key skills and attributes:
  • You will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, business development and relationship management within professional services, ideally the legal sector
  • Strong partner management skills
  • Experience of delivering on short term objectives in similar interim roles
