An international law firm which puts people at the heart of its work is looking for an innovation project manager to deliver projects with the aim of improving the way their lawyers deliver services to their clients. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of small to medium sized projects and will support the delivery of larger projects. As well as having technical skills, this role will require first-class stakeholder and change management experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Taking a business need (or issue), gathering requirements and success criteria, assessing processes / resourcing models / technologies, designing and executing pilots, creating business cases, and designing and executing implementation plans.
  • Leading technology pilots and implementation projects with the aim of maximising adoption and yielding value from technology investments.
  • Training and coaching our lawyers on what innovation means and the services / solutions which the team can offer.
  • Building relationships within the firm, spanning both legal and business services teams.
  • Proactive horizon scanning to identify new ideas and potential projects
  • Supporting internal and external communications including business development related activities.

Attributes / skills required:

  • Personality and “can-do” attitude to make an impact in the team and to influence busy senior stakeholders.
  • An interest in innovation and a passion for driving change
  •  Proven experience of successfully delivering change related projects and contributing to behavioural change
  •  Experience of implementing new SaaS technologies 
  •  Recent experience of working on technology and/or process improvement related projects within a service environment
  •  Experience of working with LegalTech tools such as HighQ, Document Automation, AI contract review software, legal workflow solutions, and generative AI applications.
  •  Project management certification (Prince  2, PMI or similar)
  • Process improvement or design thinking certification.
