Salary: up to £60k + benefits

 

 

Infrastructure Services Analyst required by a Global Leading Law Firm based near Bank. This is a 12-month FTC paying up to £60k plus benefits.

 

As Infrastructure Services Analyst you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all infrastructure topologies including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MPLS, WIFI, Internet, Servers, Storage, and unified communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all infrastructure topologies including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MPLS, WIFI, Internet, Servers, Storage, and unified communications.
  • Create and execute a maintenance plan to ensure all infrastructure systems are kept up to date with security and software patches.
  • Ensure that appropriate security controls are deployed and maintained across our network and firewalls in conjunction with the IT Security Team.
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
  • Incident Management – responsible for technical troubleshooting.

 

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Experience working within a global professional services environment
  • A strong awareness of best practice techniques and solutions within the areas of on prem infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and Cloud platform services (Azure and M365).
  • A good ability to understand and explain IT solutions and issues to a non-technical audience is desirable.
  • Experience working in an ITIL / ISO 27001 environment.

 

Desired technical skills

  • Infrastructure technologies including DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, Group Policy.
  • Dell and HP server hardware, include VxRail Systems, FlexPod and ProLiant servers.
  • LAN and WAN technologies and protocol.
  • Cisco and Juniper LAN / WLAN components.
  • Microsoft cloud hosted services and applications including M365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams Telephony.
