Senior Systems Engineer with experience of Cisco UCS required by a Global Law Firm. Paying up to £70k + benefits, this is an excellent opportunity to join a permanent team with hybrid working from a great office in Canary Wharf.
This role will be supporting a mixture of cloud and on-prem services, with on-call requirements 1 week in every 6. Essential skills include Windows Server, VM ware, Cisco UCS, and NetApp.
Key skills/experience:
- Excellent experience with Windows server 2012R2, 2016,2019,2022 Clustering, and Active Directory.
- Strong experience with VMware virtual server technologies
- Expert experience with Cisco UCS (B and C class)
- Strong understanding of NetApp or other SAN technologies
- Experience of Powershell scripting and automation
- Experience with IAAS across Azure and AWS
Key responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing, and supporting core systems including: Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Cisco UCS, IAAS, NetApp SAN/NAS, Citrix XenApp.
- Communicate with service providers.
- Ability to lead and mentor more junior team members.
- Manage operational incidents to resume services with minimal disruption.
- Contribute to overall IT strategy and direction
