A fantastic opportunity for an HR Projects Manager to join the HR department of a leading international law firm. The HR Projects Manager will play an integral role in overseeing delivery of HR project activity in line with the strategic goals in the firm. Reporting to the CPO, and working closely with the various Heads of HR, the role will blend both knowledge of HR process and best practice with a clear understanding of the project management discipline.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Devising and owing the HR Project plan and ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Interpretating and representing key HR policies and communicating with the HR team and key stakeholders in the firm.
  • Working closely with the HR team to ensure key HR processes are identified and followed consistently and correctly and in line with relevant policy.
  • Devising and managing a regular project reporting mechanism for the HR team and relevant Heads of department.
  • Tracking and monitoring progress and escalating business risks where appropriate.
  • Ensure the project and HR team are regularly updated on project activity and consulted on key decisions in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Line management responsibility for Project Co-Ordinator.

The successful applicant will have strong commercial awareness, understanding clients (internal and external) needs and the ability to tailor approach to suit a wide range of supply and demand issues. You will have a ‘can-do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description, sharing best practice knowledge and experience.

You will have previous experience of managing projects from initiation to completion, and experience within a partnership environment is desirable.
