A leading law firm has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their Human Resources team. The incumbent will ensure that a high standard of HR business partnering is provided in line with the strategic goals and values of the firm.
Responsibilities will include:
- Position HR as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the relevant client groups.
- Take the lead and act as the subject expert in all HR matters
- Coach, mentor and supervise HR Advisors in all aspects of HR processes.
- Manage key strategic projects and support strategic initiative across the team as required.
- Take the lead on complex employee relations activities.
- Complete the annual salary review process for the relevant practice groups, working with the Reward manager as necessary.
- Provide input into reward strategy.
- Drive the annual appraisal process for the relevant business areas.
The successful applicant will have gained the following skills:
- Experience of operating at HR Business Partner level is required, ideally within legal or professional services.
- Significant generalist experience in delivering high quality, commercial HR advice within a matrix management structure.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and proven experience of resolution of complex employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication skills and the acumen to effectively influence a number of stakeholders within different client groups and locations.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and manage to tight deadlines.
