My client is a highly reputable accountancy and business advisory firm with an excellent culture and focus on creativity and growth.  

As the Head of Sectors you will be a key senior leader within the BD & Marketing team and responsible for shaping the national approach to sectors. You will lead a team of sector-focused marketing and BD professionals, driving success through collaboration and innovation.

 

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend evolving market dynamics across diverse industries and align stream and sector plans accordingly.

• Monitor and assess sector trends and critical issues to foresee market needs and detect growth opportunities.

• Use data and insights, including market research, to make well-informed business decisions and enhance performance.

• Sustain a comprehensive outlook of all sectors and facilitate collaboration between business areas. • Cultivate and synchronize ideas, plans, and activities that interconnect multiple sectors around pivotal issues and opportunities.

• Track and communicate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing and BD activities, including traffic, conversion rates, and pipeline growth.

• Spearhead overall sector budgeting and financial monitoring, working closely with the Head of Go to Market.

• Offer sector-specific assistance to Key Account Management (KAM) accounts and client discussions.

• Stay abreast of competition, marketing trends, and communications issues within the market.

• Oversee sector reporting obligations, showcasing value-added initiatives to the firm.

• Ensure effective representation of sectors internally through diverse channels and initiatives.

• Recruit, retain, develop, and engage talent across the sectors team and broader Marketing and BD function.

• Foster inventive thinking and inspire others to propel innovative actions.

• Cultivate robust relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across sectors and beyond.

 

We are looking for proven experience in strategic marketing, shaping client-centric strategies, particularly for large-scale programs. Experience in professional services and an ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
