Head of Responsible Business
We are proud to be working in partnership with Freeths in their search for a Head of Responsible Business/ESG. This is a newly created role where you will be instrumental in developing the firm's responsible business strategies whilst driving the activities to embed it throughout the firm.
The firm already has set ongoing commitments to sustainability and has recently achieved BCorp certification. As Head of Responsible Business you will be driving the firm to continue leading, defining and developing these strategies. This role will work across all business areas and incorporate all things ESG from people, planet, social, clients and communities. You will be tracking progress against firmwide targets and goals and ensure the strategy and activities are communicated across the business.
You must have proven experience of working in a professional services or law firm in the past and be able to demonstrate previous knowledge and experience in developing responsible business/ESG/sustainability strategies. The firm has 13 offices across the UK and this role can be based in either Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds or London (other offices include Milton Keynes, Oxford, Sheffield, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leicester and Derby)
