For many years now Totum has been one of the best regarded recruitment consultancies in the legal and professional services sector. We have a unique focus on the provision of business services professionals to our clients which range from large, international firms to smaller, niche practices. In recent times we have successfully extended to the wider professional services sector which includes accountancy, property and management consultancy firms.

We are currently looking for a Head of Practice to lead our market leading Legal Operations, Innovation and Transformation practice. With overall responsibility for the practice, you will be responsible for leading senior recruitment mandates in this area and for managing a small team. As Head of Practice you will play a key role in the firm’s wider management team and be expected to contribute to Totum’s business more widely.

This role is very consultative and will involve you truly partnering with clients and candidates. You will often be advising clients who are recruiting roles for the very first time or building new teams and functions. The roles we recruit for are a real mix of newly created and replacement roles. Given this area is one of the fastest growing and evolving in most firms, even the replacement roles are often not like for like. Many of the roles you recruit will be done on a search or exclusive basis.

This is an exciting opportunity and could be a great role for an individual who is either experienced in the recruitment of operations and transformation roles, legal or business services professionals. It is a truly fascinating area and the roles you will recruit will often be market leading and helping to transform the sector.
