Team management responsibility
Driving PR & Comms for a large international firm this Head of Communications role works globally to coordinate activities across various offices.
This role works closely with the CMO and Senior Management team to lead the internal and external comms strategy, managing firmwide PR, internal communications, directories, awards and events.
You will develop integrated thought leadership campaigns working closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing to deliver these.
Overseeing PR & Comms planning, leading relationships with trade, national and legal press and journalists and being proactive about media coverage. You will lead the team, proactively supporting PR activities and providing guidance to partners and lawyers as to best practice and profile raising. You will also provide reputational risk and crisis management advise if and when needed.
You will also manage Internal Communications and wider external communications, driving engagement and key changes across the firm, shaping and delivering their content strategy, overseeing the development of the strategic programme that supports senior individuals in their roles and developing an internal coms programme that is consistent and joined up in approach.
With oversight of the events function from a strategic perspective, you will integrate it with the other corporate coms strategies and ensuring the development of a programme of events that delivers excellent ROI and success for the firm.
The right person will have prior professional services experience, be a creative and dynamic individual with great team leadership skills, professionalism and a self motivated persona that enables them to work under pressure
