Global Head of Business Development - Finance
Location: London (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a leading global law firm to appoint a senior BD leader to drive growth across its market‑leading finance practice. This role sits at the heart of a strategically important area for the business and will focus on shaping go‑to‑market strategy, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue across complex financial products and markets.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to unify BD efforts across Financial Markets, Debt Finance, Restructuring, and Real Estate Finance, spotting synergies, unlocking cross‑selling opportunities, and ensuring the firm is positioned to win high‑value work. The remit includes leading a high‑performing BD team, embedding best practice globally, and using market insight to anticipate client needs and sharpen commercial focus.
We’re looking for someone who brings senior‑level BD experience from professional or financial services, a strong commercial instinct, and the confidence to influence at partner and Board level. You’ll be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable navigating complexity, with a track record of delivering clear ROI from BD strategy and origination activity. Global travel is part of the role.
