Head of Marketing & Business Development - Sectors

We are delighted to be working this leading international law firm, who is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing & Business Development to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing and business development within the professional services sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and business development strategies aimed at driving growth across various sectors and industries. You will lead and manage a team of professionals, ensuring their efforts are aligned with the firm’s overall objectives. Your ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities will be crucial, as will your skill in fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials and campaigns that enhance the firm’s brand and market presence. Keeping a close eye on market trends and competitor activities will inform your strategic decisions, ensuring the firm remains competitive. Collaboration with partners and practice groups will be essential to support client development initiatives and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and business development strategies.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing and business development professionals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in marketing and business development within the professional services sector, preferably in a law firm. Strong leadership skills are a must, as you will be inspiring and motivating your team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build and maintain relationships at all levels. You should be a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities, and have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and business development strategies. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities is also important.
